I wasn't going to do a post today. I just didn't want to do a happy birthday to me post. But anyway, something happened post worthy, so I'm posting.
For the most part it's just another day. I'm hanging out in my office. It's been pretty quiet. I believe I've mentioned before that the clinic is closed on Thursdays, so the building is mostly empty. I had a couple people come in to pick up their computers.
Shortly after 1:00, I heard the bell on the door ring, so I went to the window to see who it was. It was the afternoon Karate class. They all came down here in their karategis. They had a big birthday cookie, sang happy birthday to me, the whole bit. I was shocked. It was really cool because I got to meet some of the afternoon students that I never see in the evening classes. It's just one of those things that I really did not expect to have happen.
