The whole ditching Internet thing at home isn't going to happen. I got all the stuff for my phone to use it to connect to the net, but it doesn't work. I did some digging around, and found that I would have to hack my phone to do it. It would be a great way to save some money, but I'm not willing to steal my Internet service. Completely going without Internet at home isn't an option. I am making an effort to spend less time on the computer when I'm home.
I found that I don't have as much free time to waste at a computer as I did in Minneapolis. This week, I have Karate Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Wednesday evenings I have my online Iron Kingdoms game, which is on a computer, but I don't view that as normal leisure time. I'm also joining Kiwanis, but that doesn't eat into my normal leisure time as it's at 6:30 AM on Thursdays.
Lately I've only been turning on my main Desktop computer on Saturdays to play games with the guys in Minneapolis with the web cam. It's a good thing I quit Warcraft, I don't know when I would have time to play it.

my theory is that there is so much to do here that it's paralyzing. you can always go see plays, concerts, movies at multiple venues. clubs, sushi, etc.... there's too much! when you actively have to look for something to do, it's easier to keep yourself busy.
