Donkey Basketball

Last Friday, Sarah and I played in a Donkey Basketball game. It was a fund raiser for the school's FFA. The rules are pretty simple. You have to keep a hold of your donkey at all times. You have to be on the donkey to shoot, pass, or block the ball. We played on a team with some staff of the school district. The other teams were staff from the Bank of Wyoming, and the Thermopolis and Worland FFA groups. We ended up beating the Bank of Wyoming team, and losing to the Thermopolis FFA group. Over all, it was a lot of fun, and I don't mind losing to the group that benefited from ticket sales.

And just to prove that I'm not making this all up, here's some pictures.

Here's me trying to get on my donkey. I ended up with the one that really likes to buck people off. I've got a pretty big bruise on my elbow to show for it.

Trying to get the donkey to the ball is half the game.

After a lot of hard work and determination Sarah was able to have the ball and be on her donkey at the same time.
