Too much free time

I've been spending a lot of time lately thinking about my personal cognitive surplus and how I use it. I obviously haven't been spending much of it by writing, which is what I should be doing with it. Really, I think I have been wasting it. I watched 2 entire seasons of Babylon 5 this week. Granted I was sick for most of that and couldn't accomplish anything with that time. At least I'm more aware of it than I was before. Now I can't sit down and watch an hour of TV without feeling guilty. The result is that I spend a lot of time watching TV and feeling guilty about it.
